CARDINAL KUHARIC RECEIVES POLISH FOREIGN MINISTER

ZAGREB, April 5 (Hina) - The Archbishop of Zagreb, Cardinal Franjo Kuharic, on Friday received the Polish Foreign Minister, Dariusz Rosati, who is in an official visit to Croatia. The talks focused on the connections between the Polish and Croatian Catholic Church, the two countries' historical connections and common spiritual roots, Rosati said after the one-hour meeting. He said the history of the Croatian and Polish Church were almost identical. The Church played an important moral role during the communist regime in Croatia and Poland, Rosati added.
