The first working meeting, which marks the beginning of
negotiations on Croatia's admission to WTO, is also attended by
representatives of more than 20 WTO member-countries, from the
whole of the European Union, the United States, International
Monetary Fund, EFTA, UNCTAD and OECD.

the meeting about the economic situation in Croatia, Croatia's
economy policy and its efforts in adopting legislation which would
be in line with WTO regulations.
The session gave a positive estimate of a Croatian memorandum
on foreign trade regime which was devised by a group of experts
and submitted to the WTO Secretariat.
