COUNTY HOUSE ENDORSES BILL ON STUDENT ASSOCIATON

ZAGREB, 26 March (Hina) - Tuesday County House of the Parliament endorsed a bill on a student association. Describing the bill Science Minister Dr. Ivica Kostovic said the association would enable the student body to become an equal partner in the management of the University. MPs voiced a whole spectrum of views about the bill, from unreserved support to criticisms that it further reduces the room for student initiatives and the autonomy of student organizations.
