Ministry headed by the head of the Office for Croatian minorities
and emigrants, Jasmina Kovacevic-Cavlovic, on Monday visited

The delegation was received by the president of the Croatian
Minority self-government, Mijo Karagic. The talks focused on the
work of the organization, which is a legitimate political
representative of 90,000 Croatians in Hungary, and on the oncoming
visit to Zagreb of Croatian leaders in Hungary.
The visit will take place in April and the Croatian
representatives from Hungary will be received by Croatian President
Franjo Tudjman, the chairman of the Croatian Parliament, Vlatko
Pavletic, Foreign Minister Mate Granic and other Croatian high
officials.
The talks also discussed the work of the joint inter-
government Croatian and Hungarian Minorities Committee, their
future tasks and other issues important to Croats in Hungary.
The Croatian delegation visited a Croatian elementary and a
high school in Budapest as well as the Croatian Embassy.
Present at the talks were also an advisor in the Office for
Croatian minorities and emigrants, Tihomir Telisman, and an advisor
at the Croatian Embassy in Budapest, Tomislav Vukovic.
