ERDUT, March 21 (Hina) - The U.S. Ambassador in the United Nations, Madeleine Albright, accompanied by the U.S. Ambassador to Croatia Peter Galbraith and Transitional Administrator of Eastern Slavonia, Baranja and Western Srijem,
Jacques Klein, is visiting the temporarily occupied Croatian Danubian area today.
ERDUT, March 21 (Hina) - The U.S. Ambassador in the United Nations,
Madeleine Albright, accompanied by the U.S. Ambassador to Croatia
Peter Galbraith and Transitional Administrator of Eastern Slavonia,
Baranja and Western Srijem, Jacques Klein, is visiting the
temporarily occupied Croatian Danubian area today. #L#
At 9:45 am, the delegation's helicopter landed in Erdut, where
the delegation is first to meet UNTAES (United Nations Transitional
Administration in Eastern Slavonia) officials and representatives
of the local Serb authorities.
It is expected that the high officials will give statements
after the meeting. The delegation is also to visit Borovo Naselje,
Vukovar and Ilok, where Madeleine Albright and Jacques Klein are to
hold a press conference.
