Within its framework of authority, Croatia fully supported the
program of building ships for the Russian company, Matesa said,
adding that it was a good example of good economic relations
between Russia and Croatia, besides cooperation between companies.
The program was being carried out a little behind schedule due
to financial problems and the lack of a qualified work force, Lozo
said.
The Russian side was pleased, in general, and there was hope
that the program would be completed as planned, Lozo said.
Stern also expressed his hope that the ships would be
completed on time, despite the tardiness.
