The separation zones stretch 2 km from both sides of the
borderline between the two entities.
However, an exeption was made in the Sarajevo area. The
Federal armed forces will not be able to use the "Marsal Tito"
barracks which are situated in the very centre of the town. Also,
Serb armed forces will not be able to use the barracks in Lukavica,
south of the Sarajevan suburb of Grbavica (to be handed to Federal
authorities on 19 March). The barracks in Lukavica provided a
strong fort for Bosnian Serb leader Milan Martic all through the
war.
