SARAJEVO CANTON NULL AND VOID - BOSNIAN HDZ OFFICIAL

MOSTAR, March 13 (Hina) - Yesterday's proclamation of the Sarajevo canton was a "unilateral move on the part of the SDA" (Moslem-led Party of Democratic Action), HDZ Vice-President Ivo Lozancic said Tuesday. "We consider this proclamation as null and void," Lozancic told Mostar TV, adding that the "SDA should have refrained from such an act." Commenting on President Izetbegovic's message to the citizens of eastern Mostar, especially the part which urged eastern Mostarians "not to worry over the gloating of certain individuals and groups from the wesetern bank" since "the likes of them" around Sarajevo "had come to a bad end," Lozancic said this comparison was "unacceptable and threatening."
