ZAGREB, Feb 21 (Hina) - The front page of the Wednesday issue of
the Zagreb-based daily VJESNIK inludes a story on the situation in
the southern Bosnian city of Mostar after restrictions on freedom
of movement were lifted on Tuesday in line with the Rome agreement.
"Big Crimes on Southern Front" is the headline of a Vjesnik
commentary on who is responsible for genocide that has been
committed in the south of Europe.
Vjesnik also runs an article on how Croatia was recognized as
an independent state. The article is written by Hasan Suljak, a
journalist who has recently been decorated by President Tudjman for
his contribution to the spreading of truth about Croatia.
Another Zagreb daily, VECERNJI LIST, carries an article on the
weekend summit in Rome on the implementation of the Dayton peace
agreement in Bosnia. The article, headlined "It's Easier to Sign",
compares views of politicians and analysts of the summit.
