KUPLENSKO, Feb 18 (Hina) - Bosnian Serbs on Sunday prevented a
French humanitarian official from visiting a Moslem-held town in
northwestern Bosnia and a refugee camp in Croatia, the UNHCR
said.
The head of the UNHCR mission in the Kuplensko refugee camp
in Croatia, Alesandra Morelli, said on Sunday that Bosnian Serb
authorities in Banja Luka did not allow the French Secretary of
State for humanitarian issues, Xavier Emmanuellio, to visit the
town of Velika Kladusa and Kuplensko.
Emmanuellio is currently on a four-day visit to Bosnia-
Herzegovina. On Sunday he visited the northern town of Banja Luka
from where was planning to travel to Velika Kladusa and Kuplensko
but was prevented by the Banja Luka authorities.
About 8,000 Moslem refugees from Velika Kladusa are
currently staying in the Kuplensko camp, Morelli said.
