ZAGREB, Feb 13 (Hina) - After a two-hours session, the Croatian Parliament House of Counties on Tuesday seconded a motion on several draft laws proposed by the Croatian Government and sent to the House of Counties for a first reading.
The proposed bills are a bill on compensation for confiscated property, a draft law on ownership and other proprietary rights and a draft law on apartment renting.

The representatives voted against the draft laws on
denationalization and transfer of ownership, which were proposed
by representatives Luka Trconic and Josko Kovac. However, the
representatives suggested that acceptable parts of the two bills
be incorporated in the final bill on compensation for confiscated
property.
