Klaus Kinkel's visit to Zabreb today.
In his column on economic issues, commentator Ivo Jakovljevic
warns that the year 1996 "will be another difficult year." A
two-digit growth rate of Croatian economy still cannot be expected
as was predicted by the Croatian Government.
"Therefore, I claim that the Government must immediately and
radically change its economic policies!" writes Jakovljevic.
Vlesnik also runs an exclusive interview with the Slovakia's
Prime Minister, Vladimir Meciar, who yesterday arrived in Zagreb
for an official visit.
The main topic of the day is an economic cooperation between
Croatia and the United States of America.
Reporting from a regular meeting of the Croatian Government
and reporters of the Zagreb daily Vecernji List, the daily writes,
"A Croatian Vice-Premier, Ljerka Mintas-Hodak and the Justice
Minister, Miroslav Separovic have presented details of a
constitutional draft law on the cooperation of Croatia with the
International Criminal Tribunal,"

Slovakian Premier to Croatia.
On the occasion of the German Foreign Minister's visit to
Croatia, the daily published a commentary piece written by reporter
Nenad Ivankovic. He writes on relations between Zagreb and Bonn in
the light of the recent events in Mostar.
