ORASJE, Jan 24 (Hina) - Bosnia-Herzegovina's Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) and Party of Democratic Action (SDA) canton committees, Wednesday discussed a status of the Bosnian Posavina following the Dayton conference and peace
accords signed in Paris. "The Dayton agreement is a solution which we must accept, as it brings a peace, but we cannot accept annexes of maps, as in line with such maps most citizens of the Bosnian Posavina are outside the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina. The maps legalize the ethnic cleansing, and therefore they are unacceptable," the SDA and the HDZ parties concluded at the session held in Orasje.

The HDZ and SDA coordination committee proposed that the
establishment of authorities should continue in accordance to the
Constitution of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina and the
Constitution of the Posavina Canton.
Since there were some differences as regards interpreting the
Constitution of the Posavina Canton, the committee agreed on
changing some articles of the Constitution.
In line with the agreement, the official language in the
Canton will be Croatian and Bosnian, and the official alphabet will
be Latin.
Every further change of the Constitution will need a majority
vote of Croatian and Bosniac (Moslem) deputies.
Article 90 sections will be removed which refer to the usage
of acts of the Croatian republic of Herzeg-Bosnia.
The SDA and HDZ parties will continue to hold sessions,
because it is in the joint interest of Bosnian Posavina residents.
They also said that today's agreement created conditions for
convening a regular session of the Posavina Parliament.
