ORASJE, Jan 21 (Hina) - The Bosnian Serbs have set up three check-
points along the Orasje-Tuzla road. #L#
The first check-point is in Lepnica, the second at the
crossroads in Loncari and the third is in Pelagicevo. The Bosnian
Serb police is controlling traffic on the road and charging traffic
offenses as well as goods that are being transported. 10 DM fines
are being paid for driving without safety belt or license plates.
Brandy and firewood are on the top of the duty list.
There are considerable problems with the Bosnian Muslim police
as well, passengers say. The Bosniac police have set up a check-
point near the village of Cerovik, Ravne-Brcko municipality, some
500 m south of a similar check-point set up by the Posavina Croats.
The Bosniac police are stopping cars, especially those bearing
Herzeg-Bosnian license plates and asking them to take the plates
off in case they are heading towards Tuzla.
All passengers who travel through the area controlled by the
Bosnian Serbs, are being taken to civil police stations for
questioning.
