ZADAR, Jan 16 (Hina) - A worker of the Croatian civil defence was
seriously wounded on January 12, while clearing of mines an area at
Dobra Voda near Benkovac, southern Croatia. In the explosion of an
anti-personnel mine he sustained serious injures of his feet, the
Zadar-Knin police said at a press conference on Tuesday.
On January 13, a pyrotechnic worker of the civil defence
stepped on an anti-personnel mine at Pristeg Donji, and his leg was
grievously wounded in the blast, the police told the conference.
