VUKOVAR, 17 Dec (Hina) - Following his return from the United
States, Vukovar Mayor Vladimir Stengl that US$26,000 had been
raised at a charity dinner party in New York for the reconstruction
of the Vukovar hospital.
Speaking in Vukovar on Wednesday, Stengl expressed satisfaction
with his visit to the Croat community in New York, adding the Croats
were very interested in the situation in Vukovar and sympathised
with its exiled residents.
