SARAJEVO, 4 Dec (Hina) - A group of some 500 persons gathered for
demonstrations on Thursday in Zepce, 100 km north of Sarajevo,
protesting against the return of Bosniak refugees to the town, said
U.N. spokesman in Sarajevo Alexander Ivanko.
According to reports by the International Police Task Force (IPTF),
the demonstrations occurred at the time the municipal council of
Zepce was to hold a constituent session.
The protest meeting lasted until the afternoon, when some 200
people carrying Croatian flags could still be seen on the streets of
Zepce.
The IPTF had to withdraw from Zepce during the day, due to threats
they had been exposed to, Ivanko said.
