SLAVONSKI BROD, 21 Nov (Hina) - Slavonski Brod County Prefect Mirko
Tomac received Bosnia's Ambassador to Croatia Kasim Trnka on
Friday.
The two officials discussed economic cooperation, especially in
metal manufacturing industry and agriculture.
Prefect Tomac supported the speedy return of Croats and Bosniaks to
the Bosanska Posavina region, stressing the biggest obstacle to
their return was the resistance of the Bosnian Serb leadership in
Bosanski Brod.
Ambassador Trnka and Andrija Karafilipovic, secretary of the
Association of Croatian Friendship Societies, met with Croats and
Bosniaks from Bosanska Posavina in Slavonski Brod last night.
The two officials called on Posavina Croats and Muslims to take part
in the elections which are to be held in Republika Srpska on
Saturday and Sunday.
