VUKOVAR, Nov 19 (Hina) - As of Wednesday, November 19, cars can
enter the Croatian Danube river area according to a simplified
procedure defined by the UN Transitional Administration for the
region (UNTAES).
If a car carries five or less passengers, passengers should show
their identity cards at check-points, and Transitional Police will
record the number of licence plates of the car.
If there are six or more passengers in a car, they should fill in a
form about the passengers. The forms can be obtained at civilian
affairs offices or at UNTAES military observers' offices in Osijek
and Vinkovci.
People who work in the Danube river area or priests can enter the
region showing their official cards. Blue permit cards, issued by
UNTAES since this June, are still valid for entering the region.
