VUKOVAR, Nov 15 (Hina) - Three persons were taken into custody in
Beli Manastir, eastern Croatia, after they threatened with pistols
to members of the Transitional Police Force (TPF) in Vukovar on
Friday evening.
The three persons had been taken to the Beli Manastir department of
Osijek's pretrial detention, the TPF said on Saturday evening.
According to the same sources, at about 10.00 pm Friday in a Vukovar
restaurant two men and one woman threatened coarsely with pistols
to three plainclothes TPF policemen, when they had realised that
those TPF members were Croats.
A TPF patrol arrived at the spot of the incident and apprehended the
abusers and took them into custody in Beli Manastir. No one was
reported to be injured in the event.
The TPF also said last night that about 11.00 pm Friday an explosive
device was thrown at a house of a Serb in Vukovar. The explosion
caused material damage but there was were no injuries.
