VUKOVAR, Oct 30 (Hina) - A man suspected of threatening and
disturbing the Croatian President's deputy chief-of-staff, Vesna
Skare-Ozbolt, was arrested on Thursday and was being held in
custody in Beli Manastir, the investigating judge of the Vukovar
County Court said.
On October 28, ten armed men intercepted a car carrying Vesna Skare-
Ozbolt, her associates and a journalist, in downtown Vukovar,
threatening and shouting insults at the passengers.
The ten men were charged with threatening and intimidating Vesna
Skare-Ozbolt. Three of them were arrested and then released as
there were no grounds for keeping them in custody. One man was taken
into custody on Thursday, while six are still at large.
One of those six is the instigator of the incident, Milenko
Cancarevic-Canco, believed to be the leader of Vukovar criminals.
UNTAES spokesman Douglas Coffmann told UNTAES radio on Thursday
that the Transitional Police Force had found and seized a
considerable amount of arms in the suspects' houses.
