( Editorial: --> 9299 ) JERUSALEM, Nov 8 (Hina) - representatives of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce - Chamber Zagreb held talks with representatives of Israeli business people in Jerusalem on Saturday. In the beginning of December, representatives of Israeli business people would visit Croatia, Israeli businessman of Croatian origin, and chairman of the Israeli-Croatian Friendship Society, Samuel Schlesinger, told Hina. Schlesinger founded the Israeli-Croatian Friendship Society which gathers prominent people of Israeli political and business life. We are trying to establish economic and cultural cooperation between Israel and Croatia, so we could exploit the existing potentials of both countries this way, and I consider us to be on the right path, Schlesinger said, adding that he was proud to have been born in Croatia. "The Israeli-Croatian Friendship Society is a group of influential personalities of Israel who participate in the political and economic life of the country, Zagreb's Chamber of Commerce business secretary, Jasminka Vrba, said, adding that the Society's aim was the development of political and economic ties between the two countries. "It was principally agreed that some of the members of the Society would visit Zagreb this December, with the aim of obtaining as much information as possible about Croatia's economy," Vrba said.
