SARAJEVO, 7 Nov (Hina) - NATO Secretary General Javier Solana and
the commander-in-chief of the U.S. European Command, Gen. Wesley
Clark, arrived in Sarajevo for a short visit on Friday morning.
According to a statement from the Sarajevo Stabilisation Force
(SFOR) headquarters, the highest NATO officials will meet Gen. Eric
Shinseki, Bosnia's peace force commander, and members of his
headquarters, as well as representatives of international
organisations participating in the implementation of the Dayton
agreement.
All talks will be held behind closed doors, with no public
statements. It has been announced that the purpose of the visit is
the analysis of the situation on the ground.
