VUKOVAR, 6 Nov (Hina) - The head of the Centre for Development and
Reconstruction of the Croatian Danube river region, Ivan
Krstanovic and the Centre's senior advisors on economy, Vlatko Seda
and Mirko Cavara, on Wednesday moved in a singles' hotel in Vukovar,
in the U.N.-administered area.
It is expected that Vukovar administration employees, headed by
mayor Vladimir Stengl, and other Croatian officials will in the
next couple of days move in the hotel, which offers accommodation
for more than 200 persons.
The singles' hotel, located in the district of Borovo, was
reconstructed by the Ministry of Reconstruction and Development.
It is planned that heads of large economic companies from the Danube
river region and local self-government officials from the area will
move in the hotel, which has two-bed rooms, so to avoid every-day
travelling to work from other parts of Croatia.
