TRIESTE, Oct 28 (Hina) - A two-day meeting of parliamentary
representatives of Central European Initiative (CEI) member states
closed in Trieste on Tuesday.
The meeting discussed the CEI's growing importance and its
structural adjustment to new tasks, for which purpose two ad-hoc
committees were established.
Croatia was represented by members of Parliament Zdravka Busic and
Bruno Uroic.
Croatia is represented in a five-member committee following the
work a working group charged with determining traffic corridors
through Europe.
The meeting adopted a final document which stressed the need for the
consistent implementation of the Washington and Dayton accords, as
well as a proposal for extension of the mandate of the NATO-led
peace Stabilisation Force (SFOR) in Bosnia-Herzegovina after its
expiry in June next year.
