EGYPT AND CROATIA SIGN AGREEMENT ON INVESTMENT PROTECTION

( Vidi vijest: 6161 ) ZAGREB, Oct 27 (Hina) - Croatian Economy Minister Nenad Porges and the Egyptian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Zafer El Bishry, on Monday signed an agreement on the mutual stimulation and protection of investment in Cairo, the Croatian economy ministry said in a statement. The two ministers agreed that political relations between Egypt and Croatia were at a high level but economic ones did not make use of the economic opportunities of the two countries. Also on Monday, the mixed Croatian-Egyptian economic committee held a session in Cairo. Addressing delegations of the two countries Minister Porges said that Croatia and Egypt should improve the exchange of information about conditions for business, transportation services and transport, particularly marine transport, and about cooperation in the banking system. During the two-day session, the mixed committee will discuss the promotion of the cooperation in electrical manufacturing industry, machine construction, agriculture, petroleum industry and tourism.
