SARAJEVO, Oct 22 (Hina) - A number of terrorist attacks have
recently been carried out in the Bosnian Croat-Moslem Federation
but the overall situation there is much better than in the Serb
entity of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Federation President Vladimir
Soljic said in Sarajevo on Wednesday.
Addressing the Federation Parliament's upper Chamber of Peoples,
Soljic said that some issues were unnecessariliy politicised in
discussions, such as the status of the Adriatic port of Ploce in
Croatia.
Federation Vice President Ejup Ganic warned of terrorist attacks,
stressing that they should be unconditionally prevented and that
international assistance should be sought in those efforts.
Federation Interior Minister Mehmed Zilic said that 172 bombing
attacks and 56 murders had been reported this year, adding that 15
murder cases remained unsolved.
