GERMAN ECONOMIC DELEGATION VISITS DUBROVNIK

DUBROVNIK, 15 Oct (Hina) - An economic delegation of the German state of Hesse, headed by the president of the committee for legal issues of the state parliament and member of the state parliament, Bernd Hamer, on Wednesday visited Dubrovnik. The German delegation is paying a several-day visit to Croatia, at the proposal of the first consul of the Croatian consulate general in Frankfurt, Dragutin Penic and the Franfurt chamber of industry and trade. The German delegation held talks with the representatives of Dubrovnik County chamber of commerce on economic cooperation, construction, tourism and shipbuilding industry. The German representatives also met with County Prefect Jure Buric, who informed them about the economic situation in the county, which, he said, judging from this summer's tourist results, guaranteed a revival of economy and development of the southern part of Croatia.
