EU 'IN PARTICULAR APPRECIATES' CRO GOVT'S EFFORTS IN TRANSFER OF BH CR

BH CR $ OATS TO ICTY LUXEMBOURG, Oct 6 (Hina) - The Council of Ministers of the European Union "in particular appreciates" the efforts of the Croatian government to effect the transfer of a group of Bosnian Croats, indicted for war crimes, voluntarily surrender to The Hague-based International Criminal Tribunal for Former Yugoslavia (ICTY), 15 foreign ministers concluded at a Monday meeting in Luxembourg. The Council noted with satisfaction that the ten accused put themselves at the disposal of the ICTY and believe this to be an important step in the implementation of Peace Agreements on Bosnia- Herzegovina.
