Five groups of soldiers and officers of the Federation army
have already completed the 'Equip and Train' program which was
envisaged by the Dayton peace agreement.
The program which started today and is to last three months,
like all past programs, includes the training of soldiers in using
the most modern artillery pieces and tanks. The program is organised
in line with the highest NATO standards.
The Federation army soldiers are not being trained only in
Turkey but also in the U.S., Germany, Pakistan, Malaysia and Bosnia-
Herzegovina.
The program 'Equip and Train' is conducted by the private U.S.
company EMPIR in line with the Dayton agreement regulations on
Bosnia-Herzegovina.
