ZAGREB, Sept 21 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman and his
wife Ankica visited a retrospective exhibition of renowned Croatian
painter Mladen Veza on Sunday.
About 600 paintings dating from 1934 to 1937 are on show in
the Hall of Croatian Visual Artists in Zagreb.
The President and his wife were greeted by Culture Minister
Bozo Biskupic, Zagreb Mayor Marina Matulovic-Dropulic, Presidential
Advisers Zlatko Vitez and Franjo Kajfez, Visual Artists Society
Director Perusko Bogdanic and the artist himself.
Tudjman praised Veza's exceptional work, saying that it
occupied a special place in contemporary Croatian art.
