The delegation's head, MP Slobodan Lang, said that the
conference, which focused on employment and human rights, showed
that Croatia is accepted by the democratic international community.
At the seven-day conference, members of 138 countries
discussed the exercise of human rights in all member-countries.
"Croatia was not mentioned among countries in which human
rights are being violated," Lang said adding that participants had
shown interest in Croatia's experience in humanitarian activities.
A member of the Croatian delegation, Antun Vujic, spoke at the
conference about the problem of unemployment in countries in
transition, with a special stress on the situation in Croatia.
