ZAGREB, Sept 9 (Hina) - A Croatian Parliament delegation is to visit Cairo from 10 to 16 September to participate at the 98th conference of Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), the Parliament's Public Relations Service said in a statement
on Tuesday.

Besides the usual discussion on the economic and social
situation in the world, the conference will focus on the care for a
permanent democracy by strong connections between the parliament and
the people and employment in the world of globalisation.
The 138 member countries are expected to reach a joint
declaration on democracy.
The Croatian Parliament delegation is to be headed by Croatian
President's special advisor and MP at the House of Counties,
Slobodan Lang. The delegation will consist of the keeper of the
state seal, and president of the Parliament's Interior Affairs and
National Security Committee, Ivan Milas, deputy president of the
Education, Science and Culture Committee, Antun Vujic, House of
Representatives Secretary-General Berislav Zivkovic, and Parliament
president's advisor, Andrina Pavlinic.
