MOSTAR, Sept 14 (Hina) - Two members of the joint police were
physically attacked at 05.00 am Sunday near a discotheque in western
Mostar while they were on duty.
The two policemen, one of whom was Croat and the other Moslem
(Bosniak), were attacked by three drunk men who had left the
Palladium discotheque, a spokeswoman for the international police
force (IPTF) said on Sunday.
The spokeswoman Kelly Moore stressed that the duty of the two
policemen was not linked with local elections when they were
attacked.
According to the first report, the two policemen sustained
slight injuries. They were scratched on their faces and went to
hospital for help.
According to Moore, local police have not yet arrested drunk
attackers.
