MOSTAR, Sept 6 (Hina) - U.S. Ambassador to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Richard
Kauzlarich, on Saturday afternoon held talks with Herzegovina-Neretva
Canton's interior minister Valentin Coric and his deputy Sefkija Dziho.
After the Mostar meeting Coric said that they had discussed problems
about the establishment of police in this canton of the Croat-Moslem
Federation. They agreed that concrete activities at the second stage of the
set-up of cantonal police should begin next week.
The minister added that they had also considered how to ensure
conditions for the forthcoming elections. Coric said that in the canton there
should be no problems regarding the elections and that the cantonal interior
ministry assumed responsibility for the smooth conduct of the elections.
