ANKARA, Aug 29 (Hina) - Croatian Economy Minister Nenad Porges met
about 50 prominent Turkish business people in Ankara on Friday for
talks on the possibilities of furthering the economic cooperation
between Croatia and Turkey.
Porges said that there were great prospects for cooperation in
the exploration and extraction of oil and gas, the petrochemical
industry and maritime traffic. He also spoke of the possibilities of
joint ventures in third countries.
In that context, Porges stressed the importance of the
Croatian-Turkish protocol on the establishment of the first joint
committee for economic cooperation.
