ZAGREB, Aug 25 (Hina) - Because of great interest in the "Guide
for Returnees to Croatia" (printed in 10,000 issues in May),
whose publisher is the Croatian Ministry of Return and
Immigration, a new edition of about 5,000 issues is to be printed
these days.
According to the aide to the return and immigration
minister, Antun Babic, the book is the first publication of the
sort in Croatia. It provided immigrants with the basic
instructions about Croatian laws, obtaining identification cards,
customs benefits and so on.
The booklet is sent without charge to Croatian embassies
abroad, Catholic missions, emigrants' associations and
individuals, at their request.
The "Guide" covers issues of Ids, customs, founding
companies and crafts businesses, tax regulations, education
system, insurance, legal system and many other useful and
interesting information. The booklet contains about 100 pages.
