President Tudjman said that war criminals indicted by the Tribunal
would be handed over to the Tribunal by the Croatian government, State
Department spokesman Nicholas Burns told reporters in Washington.
It is nice to hear that. Good words and positive statements. We
would like to see positive actions of the Croatian government, Burns
added.
We think that despite yesterday's positive statements we'll remain
a bit sceptic until, say, Mr Kordic is handed over to the Tribunal,
Burns said.
He added that President Tudjman had stated that Croatia would
accept the return of all Croatian Serbs.
