GENEVA, July 8 (Hina) - A three-day 'Economic Summit of Central and East
Europe' will begin in Salzburg on Wednesday.
This unofficial gathering of top politicians and businessmen of
transition countries has been organised for the second time by the
"World Economic Forum", an influential non-governmental Swiss
organisation.
Participants of the Salzburg meeting will be heads of states,
premiers, or foreign or economic ministries' officials. Besides, about
360 presidents and managers of large banks (such as the EBRD, IBRD and
so on) and corporations will attend it.
A Croatian delegation, led by an assistant to Foreign Minister,
Spomenka Cek, will consist of Ambassador Darko Bekic and businessmen
Frano Lukovic and Ivan Jedvaj.
