Wednesday received a delegation of the German Parliament Committee for Economic
Cooperation and Development, which included a former federal minister for urban
planning and construction, Irmgard Schwaetzer, and Brigitte Adler, a statement +

The German parliamentarians informed Sanader about their visit to Osijek and
Vukovar and their talks with Croatian officials and officials of the U.N. +
Transitional
Administration in Eastern Slavonia.
Schwaetzer and Adler expressed satisfaction with the process of peaceful
reintegration of the Croatian Danube river region.
Sanader reiterated Croatia's commitment to implementing the Dayton and
Washington agreements and stressed the importance of continuing the process of
normalisation of relations with Yugoslavia.
The Republic of Croatia would continue to cooperate with the Hague Tribunal,
in line with the regulations of international law, the Statute of the Hague +
Tribunal and
the Constitutional Law on Cooperation Between Croatia and the Hague Tribunal,
Sanader said, expressing dissatisfaction with certain actions by the Hague +
Tribunal,
including the recent subpoena the Tribunal sent to Croatia and Defence Minister+
Gojko
Susak.
At the end of the meeting, Sanader informed the German parliamentarians
about the strategic guidelines of Croatia's foreign policy in the next period.
