TUZLA, 29 July (Hina) - The British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook on Tuesday visited Tuzla, northern Bosnia, where he met with Tuzla Canton Prefect Sead Jamakosmanovic and Tuzla mayor Selim Beslagic. Cook supported the proposal by the
President of the Bosnian Presidency Alija Izetbegovic on the establishment of a commission which would investigate accusations of corruption and crime in the state leadership.

Tuesday visited Tuzla, northern Bosnia, where he met with Tuzla Canton
Prefect Sead Jamakosmanovic and Tuzla mayor Selim Beslagic.
Cook supported the proposal by the President of the Bosnian
Presidency Alija Izetbegovic on the establishment of a commission which
would investigate accusations of corruption and crime in the state

I think that my comments have had a positive impact, Cook said,
adding Great Britain was ready to cooperate in the work of the commission.
The commission would help in establishing a correct accounting
system for public revenue and the revenue of public institutions and
companies, establishing a firm and objective policy of customs taxes and
checking the financing of parallel institutions, which belong neither to the
Federation nor to the joint institutions of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Cook said.
As an example of this, Cook named the Agency for Investigation and
Documentation (AID), the financing of which has not been recorded
anywhere.
