VIENNA, June 19 (Hina) - Croatian Interior Minister Ivan Penic met in
Vienna on Thursday with Austrian Public Security Director Michael Sik
and representatives of the financial police and an intervention force
for the prevention of organised crime.
The talks focused on combat against white-collar crime, organised
computer crime, with emphasis on the protection of information on disks,
money laundering and drug abuse.
The Austrian officials congratulated the Croatian police on its
succecces in combating all forms of crime, saying that the results of
successful Croatian actions could also be felt in Austria.
