In an atmosphere of good political relations and friendship, the
ministers exchanged information about chief measures Hungary and Croatia
were taking in agrarian politics, and the politics of prices.
Dominikovic warned about Croatia's big trade deficit in the
exchange of goods with Hungary (about US$ 40 million in the first three
months this year), and called on the drafting of an agreement on free
trade, which would remove obstacles to more Croatian products on the
Hungarian market.
Nagy informed the Croatian side about measures Hungary was taking
as a country in transition, and about the difficulties of the Hungarian
government in increasing agricultural production.
