CRO INTERIOR MINISTER RECEIVES OUTGOING CHINESE AMBASSADOR

ZAGREB, June 24 (Hina) - Croatian Interior Minister Ivan Penic on Tuesday received the outgoing Chinese Ambassador to Croatia Xie Xiqin. According to an Interior Ministry statement, during his talks with Penic, Xiqin expressed satisfaction with the relations and cooperation with the Croatian Interior Ministry realized to date. The Chinese Ambassador believed that his successor would achieve good cooperation with the Croatian Interior Ministry, to the benefit of the two friendly countries and their citizens, the statement said. Penic pointed out the very successful cooperation between the Croatian and Chinese polices, to which the Croatian Minister's visit to the Chinese Public Security Ministry in February had contributed. Penic also pointed out the good economic cooperation between Croatia and China and its good prospects for an even stronger cooperation in the future, the statement concluded.
