CROATIA'S AMBASSADOR TO FRANCE DELIVERS LECTURE IN PARIS

PARIS, June 20 (Hina) - Croatia's ambassador to France, Smiljan Simac, delivered a lecture to members of the French association "Horizon 2000" in Paris on Thursday on the political and economic situation in Croatia and its relations with France. The lecture was given at the invitation of the association on the occasion of the second colloquium "The Adriatic - the Region of European Balance", which was initiated by "Horizon 2000" and held in Paris in 1994 and Dubrovnik in 1997 under the patronage of the foreign ministers of Croatia and France. During a discussion, members of the association, mainly prominent public and political figures and business people from Paris, showed great interest in Croatia and its relations with neighbouring countries and the European Union as well as in the economic situation and the possibilities of doing business in Croatia and with Croatia.
