DUBROVNIK, June 14 (Hina) - For the first time in six years, an Italian
shipping company established a line between the Italian port of Bari and
the south Croatian port of Dubrovnik.
The "San Sovino", a ship owned by Italian shipping company
"Adriatica di Navigazione" from Venice, on Saturday entered Dubrovnik's
harbour, thus marking the beginning of a line which will connect Bari
and Dubrovnik once a week.
Present at a manifestation upon the Italian ship's arrival were the
deputy prefect of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Antun Matic, the Mayor
of Dubrovnik, Vido Bogdanovic, representatives of the "Jadroagent"
travel agency from Rijeka, and representatives of "Adriatica di
Navigazione".
