ZAGREB, March 20 - The (INA) Croatian national oil company's
managing director, Andrija Kojakovic, on Wednesday signed a
memorandum of understanding with the Italian oil company, AGIP, on
joint oil research and production in the northern Adriatic Sea, the
INA public relations office reported today.
The Italian company expressed its intention to sign an
agreement with INA, within next three months, on joint research and
production of oil and gas in the northern Adriatic Sea.
The memorandum implies the investment into three-dimensional
seismic maps, possible research oil-wells, and into joint
production in case that oil and gas may be found, according to the
report.
