ZAGREB, March 5 (Hina) - The several-day visit to Indonesia and Malaysia had

Indonesia and Malaysia were two friendly countries which fully
supported Croatia's foreign politics, Matesa said.
He added that Croatia had received full support in the peaceful
reintegration of the Croatian Danubian area.
We had informed leaders of both countries about Croatia's firm stance
in efforts for a consistent implementation of the Dayton and Washington
agreements, Matesa said.
Most of the talks with Indonesian and Malaysian officials had focused
on economic issues, he said.
"They were very useful meetings aimed at opening new markets for
Croatian economy, during which we reached several very concrete results.
Thus, the Croatian oil company INA, for example, was granted four
concessions in Indonesia for the exploration of oil and gas and it will also
be engaged in explorations at other oil-wells. The "Koncar" company is
exporting transformators to Indonesia and in Malaysia, Koncar and the
Vienna-based "Siemens" will jointly construct a DM 100 million transformator
factory, which is one of the biggest Croatian assignments abroad in general.
We reached an agreement that Croatian and Malaysian companies appear
together on third markets when it comes to the construction of power
objects. There were also a number of concrete agreements in textile industry
and in construction work," Matesa said.
