R ZAGREB, Mar 13 (Hina) - The Croatian Journalists Association on Thursday held a commemorative service in honour of reporter Sinisa Glavasevic and engineer of Radio Vukovar Branimir Polovina, killed in Ovcara on 20 November 1991. The Association's vice-president, Zivko Kustic, told those attending, including family members of the killed, fellow citizens, friends, admirers, journalists, parliament representatives and parliament vice-president Jadranka Kosor, that the deaths of Glavasevic and Polovina and the fall of Vukovar had not cancelled, but confirmed human virtues. On behalf of the Croatian PEN Centre, its President, Slobodan Prosperov Novak, bade farewell to the Centre's member Glavasevic. Before the commemoration, a candle was lit and a wreath laid in front of a memorial plaque on the building of the Journalists Centre in Zagreb, bearing the names of 12 Croatian reporters and radio engineers, with those of Glavasevic and Polovina added, killed in the Homeland War. On this occasion, journalist Olga Ramljak read aloud Glavasevic's last report from Vukovar, edited by Polovina, broadcast on Croatian Radio on 18 November 1991. (hina) ha mm 131837 MET mar 97
