MOSTAR, Mar 1 (Hina) - The Mostar City Committee of the Croatian Democratic
Union (HDZ) on Saturday discussed the security and political situation in
Mostar and the report by the International Police Task Force (IPTF) on the
events of 10 February.
"All participants in the discussion fully and unequivocally dismissed
the report on the investigation results by the IPTF, deeming it incomplete,
lacking in arguments, extremely one-sided and strongly biased", a statement
issued after the session said. The refusal to accept the report by Croat
officials in the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Bosnia-Herzegovina was
assessed as a "responsible and the only possible act", the statement added.
The Mostar HDZ City Committee requested restraint, peace and dignity
of HDZ members and the population of Mostar, "in these difficult times of
trial and the almost unbearable psychic pressure to which they are subjected
to in the clash of different international concepts and interests in this
area", the statement concluded.
